I don't believe NP ever denied OWS contacting Cytodyn. You see comments regarding that were never even mentioned until bashing article by New York Times was published. Afterwards, NP specifically denied ever receiving a denial by OWS. He specified that it was impossible for CytoDyn to be denied by OWS because that would have required an application.
