Does anyone actually believe it is due to bad news? If that were the case, they would have just shut the testing down.
Instead, I believe they have come up with some dramatic findings way beyond human lung and kidney testing results, IC50 and IC90 for each, and the SI ratio. We know they had that done weeks ago, if not a whole month ago or more.
It makes much more sense that they are finding results that could guarantee the PAN-CORONA grant and ensure that the human trial testing will be a success.
Remember, this is GMU's chance to bring to the world a peer review article that lays open the spectacular new arm of medicine, defensin mimetics/AMPs.
I remember when Kevetrin first went into P1 trials a learned doctor said that the longer the delay of news and the tighter the control of data, the greater were the results to be reported. So right now it looks like Brilacidin is due for one whopping peer review article or more.
