This board is for discussion for investors about anything company related. ClosetInvestor is an investor I have known for years. People confuse bad talk about NP from longs as bashing the company. He has been for replacing NP for a while, no surprise there. Everyone here including ClosetInvestor wants what best for the company. Everyone is excited about leronlimab's potential. But there is a group that aren't happy with NP. We will see how big it is next week when the vote comes out. If you support NP, make sure to vote yes on item 1. I am looking forward to seeing how much support he has next Thursday. My guess is he will get strong support for item 1, but not the other two items (compensation and stock option increase), possible one or both failing. Then we can move on after this NP talk. If you haven't been around Cytodyn for long. The NP talk comes up every year. Sometimes a couple times a year. I post the results every year.
Personally, I'm glad the conversation happened, and the board has moved on. Items like that shouldn't be sweep under the rug imo because we are afraid to talk about negative items. It is good different people have different opinions, otherwise we are just a cult following.
Now what is not allowed is people flipping the stock and posting positive or negative based on their position. Also, people get tired of the same subject, so I believe it has reached a conclusion. Or someone that is constantly negative, if you don't have any positives, than maybe this isn't the stock for you. But there are some here for leronlimab even though they dislike management. That is possible. Some I respect, like lawman. He is a class act, always disliked NP. But he has been long for years because of leronlimab.
My personal opinion, I am guessing NP blocked the paper. But NP didn't just roll out of bed one morning and say 'F it, I'm blocking this paper'. Something bigger happened, a disagreement, and this was part of the result. Maybe NP is on the right side of the disagreement and had just cause. Again jmo.
I am personally glad we have CDiddy and ClosetInvestor as mods. It is great to have an optimist like CDiddy, something we lost when misiu left as mod. And it is good to have someone be honest and not just pump everything cytodyn related like ClosetInvestor, who I am sure has taken some slack for it... it is easier to say nothing. It is a lot of hard work being a mod, thankless work. I stepped back after the BLA submission, and I am glad those two and the others have continued to try to create a civil board where investors can have honest discussions. iHub use to refer to this board as the happy board, making fun of the board, but of the three, ihub, yahoo, and hangouts, I think this is the best one.
