If you can't muzzle these people for inane, redundant conspiracy-theorizing, I'll have to miss the other useful folks on this board. And this board may miss a having a trained statistician when we have data to look at.

I’m going to keep this short and succinct.

Borel Fields, you are a valued contributor to this board and those of us that take the time to read and comprehend your posts are rewarded by your professional experience. You are an important member and I hope you agree to stay.

However, this is not CDiddy’s message board, he does not profit from advertising, he does not get paid to moderate, and he has a very demanding professional life that suffers from the hours he spends here removing bashers and keeping everyone even-tempered and high-spirited during difficult times.

The very notion that it is CDiddy’s responsibility to “muzzle these people” is ludicrous. We all need to be responsible for engaging in reasonable discussion and debate of the topics at hand. And I think we are all mature enough to recognize that our goals are in alignment and that we don’t want this board to devolve into iHub or Yahoo.

This recent discussion about Dr.BP’s manuscript and CytoDyn’s involvement (or not) in blocking it has reached it logical conclusion. There is nothing more to say about it at this time. If and when the peer reviewed manuscript is published, everyone can look at the authors listed in the masthead and arrive at their own conclusions. Until that time, I strongly suggest we drop this topic and move on to more relevant matters.
