Read my previous posts for the simple explanation I’ve provided. No, I don’t have the exact reasons why NP did so, but it involved the ownership of the data. We know for a fact that the paper was blocked for, “political reason,” per a comment from Dr. BP. NP was an author on the paper and because of that fact, he had the right to contact the journal and protest publication of the data. That’s “political” in my mind. Maybe he hoped by protesting the paper he could work out an agreement on the data, but again, only NP could answer that question.
