The questions wasn’t ambiguous although Dr. Been using the term “someone” opened the door for interpretation that it could have been someone other than NP/CYDY.
What I’d like to point out is that NP never said that CYDY DIDN’T block the paper. He also didn’t claim to not know anything about the subject. If the question was so ambiguous and NP had no knowledge of the topic, why didn’t he simply say, “I don’t know anything about that,”? Instead, He danced around the topic and that started touting how many papers “CYDY” has in the works.
