And not for nothing, but aren't all of these patie

Often you'll see articles come out about some exciting new information around a disease. The headlines are promising and then when you read the article you realize the authors just did a deep dive into studies that have already been done, compiling them all together in a meta analysis to uncover or show some new trend or correlation between result and medication. While this can be a useful exercise, the reality is that you just don't know until you do a specific trial against your hypothesis. Longhaulers are a real, significant problem and if Leronlimab shows in a trial that it works on those patients it would be the first and only proven option. It would be a very valuable tool for doctors and get widespread use. If in the paper Dr. Yo and Dr. BP put together their analysis and the science is sound, that's great. There could be some off label use and hopefully it would generate enough interest to run some actual trials. I think there's a place for both and one doesn't diminish the potential of the others.
As an aside, while I am very excited at the possibility of having lots of money from this drug getting approved, I'm slowly becoming more excited at knowing that every time my stomach rumbles I don't have to wonder if it's early 'Rona percolating in my belly first before spreading to my taste buds. Thinking that it's odd my ankle isn't getting that much better after I forgot there was one more step off my deck the other day and is it possible that the girl across the street saw me stumble for a second because while I'm married and it shouldn't matter if I look stupid in front of an attractive neighbor I still like to pretend I'm a catch and not an ageing parent with a growing dad bod but really I'm just worried that the virus could be attacking my already weakened ankle and working it's way up my body toward my taste buds and OMG MY MANHOOD IS ON THAT PATH SHOULD I BE WORRIED WHAT DOES JEEVES SAY SOMEONE ASK JEEEEEEVVVVEEEEEEES!
I guess what I'm saying is I'm just not ready to start doing real work in my home office yet today. Oh, and I do think Leronlimab will work wonderfully in longhaulers.
