I agree that it's somewhat possible that something doesn't add up, but it's a major stretch to think that R & G was complicit in any shenanigans, zero likelihood, in my opinion.
Our lawyer, Hallward-Driemeier, argued and won Obergefell vs Hodges at the Supreme Court. No matter what you think about the issue, this was a major accomplishment, really, obviously, one for the ages. When I heard he was arguing our case, I bought more.
So, if you're asking if a lawyer of that status would help SFT cheat some investors, the answer is definitely, "no". He's already making a ton of money, why would he take the chance of tarnishing his reputation or being disbarred?
His presentation did sound like he put it together in the cab on the way over to court, not impressive at all. Regardless, Babe Ruth struck out sometimes, too, and he wasn't betting on his opponents.
