Yes no more buying from breeders even out of state to stop/break up existing medical problems with over breeding. When they breed as such the line become weaker and weaker not stronger. So no doubt even the risk of Eye problems in cats caused be herpes one is still better with the strength of the typical alley cat that are running around the neighborhood but the secret is to get a hold of a new born old enough that you can take care of it totally and only have one person be around it for 1to 2 weeks without any interference from any other pets or humans then you will have a pet that will love you generally forever. The problems with some animals that are brought in in that matter is if the cat has been around you for 10-12 years and the human dies sometimes the cat has a hard time trying to adjust due to the loss and some remaining people end up putting the animal down.
* Worth noting when you bring an animal into your life and when it is time to put it down due to medical problems or sickness NEVER HAVE someone else take it to be put down take the animal yourself and be with it the entire process. This is important but it hurts. All animals we buy under contract are handled as such. It is respect and love from you to the animal. It hurts like hell but a must.
