SEPTEMBER 18, 2020 - Showpad Named a Strong Performer in Sales Content Solutions by Independent Research Firm
https://www.prweb.com/releases/showpad_named_...405187.htm
"Showpad drives rapid deployment and adoption with best-in-class technology and practices based on the success of more than 1,200 customers in over 50 countries. GE Healthcare, Bridgestone, Honeywell, and Merck, among others, rely on Showpad's sales enablement platform in every step of the buyer journey."
1,200 customers. I assume that is companies and not users. If it was users that wouldn't be good for them.
If it is customers, how many users per company.
Likely more than 1 on average.
Is it 10? Maybe
Is it 100? I doubt it.
Let's for the moment work with the 10 number
10 x 1,200 = 12,000 user?
But Solofire has 23,000 users
So maybe it's 20 users per company. That would put them at 24,000 users
Even if it was 100 users on average per company that would be 120,000 users
Show pad raises $160M and has possibly 12,000 users or 120,000?
Who knows, they aren't public.
Either way the 23,000 users Solofire has is looking pretty good combined with the 1,500,000 users VERB has and opens the doors up to a bunch of Verticals.
Another thing to look at
Here's Showpad's BOD

Notice anything?
Let me help you...
https://www.verb.tech/about-us
Bet you see it now
ShowPad's board is made up of mostly the 3 VCs that invested in the company along with the CEO and CPO, both of the cofounders
I guess that is fine for a startup, but at some point they might want a more diverse BOD like Verb with leaders that have experience form other large corporations.
Remember, in December of 2018, Seismic’s announced they raised $100 million Series E investment on a $1 billion valuation.
Six months later in June of 2019, Showpad raised $70 million bring their total to $180M some of which was debt.
Grew of 400 to 600 employees last year
If Seismic’s raised $100M and is valued at $1 billion, what do you think Showpad's valuation would be?
Website says ShowPad deployment takes between six and nine weeks. So month and a 1/2 to a little over two months. Wonder why so long?
Do a job search on "Showpad Jobs"
They are hiring like crazy. This tell me that is a lot of demand for solutions in this space.
Looking forward to seeing the combined Verb/Solofire product looks like and outselling ShowPad
