We are close the number of enrollees having completed the trial for an interim analysis. The date should be Sept 22 which is 28 days from the 195th enrollee.
There is some debate on here about who will analyze the results. I believe it will be a DSMC.
My understanding is that if the results are stellar, the trial will be stopped and one would imagine we would apply for EUA by mid October?
If the results are good, but not overwhelmingly good, then the trial will continue until complete.
This is as I understand it. I could be incorrect.
