I thought Amerex was in charge of acquiring the results from the 10 trial locations and to review the data. Why would we give the DSMC the first look at data? Seems suspect to me. If we acquire it we should copy it and send the DSMC a copy and start our own review before they assess the data. I would want them only to confirm our data. Not give us back our data for us to review second hand. We could get slow played by this review. Not that a day or two would make a difference but what if the independent review was a month long? I wouldn’t like that. We have lives to save and being slow played isn’t what the Covid Patients deserve.
We reviewed our own data without help for the CD-10 trial. Why does the format change now? Doesn’t make sense to me. I don’t like it if we get the info second. For one... the delay of information is possible . Two... how do we know we get back all the information harvested from the trial? My trust isn’t as It once was. My hope is that this moves along nicely and above board as much as we expect it to. It just makes me nervous to have a panel review first when we can very well do it ourselves.
