Lots of talk about PValue from CD-12 interim analy

Lots of talk about PValue from CD-12 interim analysis. I understand people are concerned needs to be a certain pvalue howver I think that is mainly for full approval. Steven Hahn Head of FDA stayed that a 35% reduction in mortality was a dream number. So if we are anything close to 35% lower mortality day 28 that placebo would it not be an instant EAU Worst case scenario and than they can debate stopping trial based if pvalue good enough etc?
