Huge fan of Dr. J, and since we have moved away from Dr. Patterson, Lalezari is the most credible guy in the room.
I don't really think he has gone anywhere, but if you have been here for awhile, it is is fair to question - or at least contemplate- why he wasn't on the call. We've seen this before. Every time we pump somebody as the smartest guy in the room, they seem to disappear for whatever reason. Dr. Patterson is the latest casualty. I don't know what happened to that relationship, and I can even buy the theory that this was a strategic distancing to build some objective 3rd party backing in this critical phase, but the idea that we terminated the relationship with Patterson over lab fees when he was becoming the face of the franchise seems ridiculous.
Bottom line, if this was Nader out front alone pumping the COVID indication, I wouldn't believe it for a second. Patterson and Lalezari gave me hope here and continue to do so. It would be nice if they were both part of the team when we take the CD12 results to the FDA.
