Dr Lalezari? Yes, I was wondering the same thing. He was listed to be there and no mention of why he was not. I think I know. He couldn’t stomach the FDA “go back to square one” discussion and Dr P knew he might just blurt out something about it. I looked at Cytodyn website and he’s not listed in the staff section. I truly hope he’s still around.
As far as the EUA here and with UK submittal is concerned, I believe it’s more of a semantics thing. I believe he “filed “ for it whether verbally, emailed, or by form but was told to go no further. What should have happened RIGHT THEN is a PR to let us know. How many of us have been looking at our phones, constantly distracted waiting and watching for that EUA or approval to come through week in and week out?! Aaah, there’s the rub. It’s not so much whether or not he “filed “ it but it was that we’ve been strung along for no reason all this tim. I’d like to know when he found out the” no not now “responses from FDA and EUA. We filed? 4 weeks ago and the notice of yesterday’s cc was a week ago. He knew surely then what had happened! To delay us this long is cruel and not acceptable. Also, the einds should have been sent to U.K. last month. They should not have had to ask for them.
As much as this company loves to update its shareholders, they sure dropped the ball on this one. I think that’s why we all thought good news was in store. Because of no proactive videos and all the silence we just knew good stuff was brewing. Not.
