Great post and thank you for checking my facts. It made me stop and think about posting in general. Posts are like empty ‘bubbles’ in newspaper cartoons. Everybody (even me) unconsciously fills them in with the dialogue they wish were taking place. Never ends well. For although i can articulate what i wish for, i always know inside that it’s not based upon an acceptance of solid (if disappointing) reality. Makes me and the reader feel more rather than less anxious, and certainly less rather than more content. Which can, by the way, lead to further discussion of the wished for state of affairs. Which only leads to more unease. Yuck.

I distinguish ‘facts accepted’ from criticism...if things are simply accepted as current reality and described as such there’s no need for criticism (which I think may be just cloaked wishful thinking). So I’ll strive for more accepted fact-based comments in my posts going forward.
