Yes, the old highly inefficient method of hunting and pecking for treasure once a wreck was located is going the way of the dodo bird.
They had to work to identify the wreck and then hope to locate a manifest that hopefully had a list of contents of the ship that would possibly contain treasure of some sort in that list. That way, they would know what they were looking for and thus when to stop or to move on altogether. If the manifest showed treasure then the long labor intensive process of going after non-treasure targets in the hopes of finding treasure next to it would begin. It is slow, expensive and terribly inefficient. But that's what some people are used to. They just didn't know any better.
Seafarer and the SeaSearcher on the other hand can quickly scan a site and locate not only the treasure and it's location but the volume of treasure. With the combination of the hi res sonar and the metal interrogator they will know the size, shape, location and what it is made of.
I guess you have to ask yourself: Do you want to invest in a company that finds wrecks or a company that finds gold, silver and treasure?
