Exactly! The pandemic has caused global delays for non-covid ventures but has opened up many avenues for IPIX. Brilacidin is finally on BARDA’s desk front and center. We will continue to benefit from Brilacidin’s free research (thanks to Uncle Sam)as it is tested as a medical counter measure against multiple biological threats. The data collected will only serve to increase its value and facilitate trials for other indications. Looking beyond the federal government, universities and governments across the globe will be interested in exploring Brilacidin and in turn become force multipliers. The pandemic has ushered in the age of Brilacidin as a monumental and disruptive shift in medicine. We are watching history in the making.
