The right way to project leadership so as not to create a panic while still taking the pandemic seriously: "Our nation is about to face a huge challenge. If we keep our heads and follow a few simple rules, we can all get through this together."
The wrong way: "I take no responsibility at all." "Can you see me wearing a mask?" "It's a Democrat hoax." "It'll disappear by the Summer." "The China virus is all China's fault." "We must reopen the economy at all costs." "Don't listen to the WHO, the experts, or the CDC.
I know better." "Schools that don't open don't get any money." "Fewer tests means fewer cases." "The burden is on the states." "The deep state is stalling the vaccine." "It's Obama's fault." "People are saying that disinfectant injections might work."
