That is, until it’s not working. In August, Zoom experienced widespread outages in the U.S. and even overseas (India is Zoom’s second-largest market) when massive numbers of students logged on for their first day of school. Exact numbers are hard to find, but it’s safe to say that hundreds of thousands of students are Zooming this fall.
