It calls it both an Automated Underwater Vehicle and an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle.
In the PA it was referred to as an AUV
But yes, it does have non ferrous sensors, 3D subbottom profiling, and 100/400khz side scan sonar. The system also has a high resolution camera system. The AUV can be programmed to fly over a target area in, say, 5000 ft of water, and take 1x1 meter photos that are electronically "stitched" together to create photo mosaics like the one below.
The photo is a colonial era wreck found by Endurance’s AUV in roughly 5000 ft of water more than 200 miles off the US east coast.
