That was the trade-off. We hoped it would save her life, in the process we get crucial data to advance leronlimab as a therapy. She could have tried any number of things, but she went with leronlimab.
It was too late to overcome her advanced cancer, but she gave us about two months of good research.
If leronlimab ever becomes a standard therapy for breast cancer, it will be because of her and other women willing to try.
