From what I read, QDX HealthID is still the only company that backs up their motto "We don't share your data, you do". WDSYDYD.
If you find another HealthID that does, please post specifics and not just a link.
IBM initially looked like it did, but on closer examination, your data is exposed to their whole ecosystem for far more applications which you give up your control of your data.
What does WDSYDYD actually mean? It means your specific test data is not resident on a database but can be accessed if given specific permission. You can buy a covid 19 test from any QDX HealthID partner and your test will not be seen by anyone or any company, just you.
The following is speculation on how QDX HealthID prevents sharing your data beyond who you give specific permission.
Let's say xxx big box company wants to test their employees and sign up with QDX HealthID. Their employees would sign their specific permission for xxxbbc to see their health status, and only them.
Let's explain the difference between you personal data and non-identifying aggregate data. Almost Every App on the market shares aggregate data that shows the results of various groups without divulging your personal data. It is an unofficial default that is hard to avoid.
HIPPA protects your medical data from being shared. The government can audit any company holding medical data to ensure compliance. Unless you give that protection away, so that, a biomed cancer research company can use your data to find a cure for your cancer, or participate in a study. Those a legitimate medical reasons you might want to share your medical data. But sharing your data so that it can be used for marketing is what HIPPA is designed to prevent.
So, you are protected from having your medical and personal data shared unless and until you give your permission. Aggregated data does not give away your personal or medical data.
Regarding personal data, the Devil is in the fine print. Facebook is really a marketing company with revenue from sharing your personal data for all advertising purposes.
Many Facebook partners share you specific data that you unknowingly permissioned them to share with Facebook, which then reshares it with anywhere from 1000 partners to 10s of thousands because you have given your rights away.
