Could be. I'm not 100%, but I seem to remember that someone else out the idea in Nader's head, then Dr. P. agreed and explained why it would work, confirming it later with his diagnostics.
Not that Dr. P didn't already conceive of this beforehand, just that I remember the CYDY timeline happening this way.
