Man we have a lot of ACQ's on this board. Not to be confused with ATCQ (which is A Tribe Called Quest) the ACQ is an ArmChair Quarterback. I don't blame any of you for doing it because I do it too. But man is it tiring to read the negative "facts" after every call like the sky is falling*.
*It's 2020 so the sky may actually fall before the year is up but you get my point
It's all perspective. If you go in with demands in your head about what is said, how it's said, and how fast it's all going to happen you'll be disappointed almost every time.
It just makes it worse. Why are you imposing imaginary deadlines and expectations on yourself?
Sure, sure, NP will allude to dates and then when he doesn't hit them it's frustrating. I get that. I'm eager, just like you all are, to have enough money from this investment that I can afford to pay for tickets and the lawyers involved with every time I vandalize the car of someone who double parks. Or body slam the people who try to board a plane before their group is called. Or, why am I telling you all this? I just need to be rich. That's all you need to know. It's better that way. Plausible deniability. Anyways...
Bringing a drug to market isn't exactly easy. There are a million variables, especially considering there are third parties involved in the process. Headway is headway in my book. Until the science starts to fail or governing bodies refuse to work with us it's just part of the journey. Aren't you here for the end of that journey? The end of the game? Isn't that the goal? Or at least somewhere much closer to that goal than we are today? Don't you want NP to walk you over to the snack shack for your free sno-cone after the big win? Or one of those pieces of gum shaped and colored to look like baseballs that have the words "single" or "Home Run" on them? A greasy burger? Am I just rattling off experiences from my little league park back in the 80's now YOU BET I AM!
Or we could look at it another way.
I'm sure 16yo you had a crush on some celebrity or tv/movie personality the same way that your good buddy Respert24 did back in the day. Not sure what it says about me that I really dug Nancy McKeown from Facts of Life or Laura, the cartoon receptionist from Dr. Katz, but my point is that if you'd have told 16yo me that either of those two actually liked me and it was only a matter of time before we went on a date I'd have been thrilled no matter how long it took, so long as that date was going to happen. Delay it all you want it would just allow me more time to perfect my moves*.
*I stop short!
But my point is: Let's all keep perspective.
1) We haven't received any no's from the US or UK on EUA but in fact have gotten some very positive feedback and meetings to advance our cause.
Nobody in the company who actually knows what's going on seems the least bit worried about NASDAQ uplisting so why are we?
4) There are too many players with massive credentials (JL, BP, et al), with massive money invested (the group with $28 million at $10/share), and with devastating good looks (throwing myself a bone here) for this to be some kind of hoax.
...and last but not least...
1) this little antibody from this small company is continuing to show in actual patients (HIV, Covid, Cancer, etc.) that it has the goods. Independent researchers are validating the pathways and MOA in paper after paper lately. And until any of these things start to reveal the opposite, we're on gravy train with biscuit wheels my friends.
