I think is was about two weeks by my memory. Stat news leaked the news that GILD trail results were going to be good. That story came out after the market closed on April 16.

There was some very heavy buying of GILD out of the money calls on April 16. These calls will expire on April 17 and would be worthless unless the price rallied a lot in 24 hours. On April 17 GILD went from 76 to 85 making huge profits for those who bought the calls.

GILD disavowed the leak and the SEC immediately began an investigation of the matter. The author of the Stat article was none other than Adam F.

I am quite sure that Fauci made the oval announcement of EUA Remdesacrap on 4/30 two weeks later and GILD stock jumped but has been sliding ever since.
