As it is stated there the patent is overbroad and would conflict with prior art. CCR5 blockade against inflammation is nothing novel. Even my disease list is proof of that.
Those type of patents are usually filed for one of two purposes to patent troll against companies and initiate lawsuits or to cover themselves on any research they're doing themselves.
