Here is what I believe is another growth opportunity for Verb where businesses could leverage Verb Apps and Verb Live for increasing sales, increasing customer satisfaction, and differentiating themselves from competitors.
I plan to share Verb Live with this business owner from a customer POV on our next visit.
Our puppy started limping, so we took her to the Veterinarian.
Vets are operating similar to other businesses where you cannot go inside due to the small waiting room area and difficulty to social distance.
We called the Vet from home and agreed to be there at 11am.
When we arrived, parked in a spot with a number, and called the receptionist to check in.
An attendant came out and took our puppy inside while we waited in the car.
The doctor called our cell prior to examination and again after to discuss prognosis and approval of next steps.
When done, they called again to confirm meds and cost.
When done, another call to provide credit card over phone for payment.
Then Attendant brought our puppy out to our car.
They get high marks on how they are dealing with Covid, but it was a different vet experience for us having to communicate back and forth with technology.
This process may be the new normal for not only a vet visits, but many other businesses.
With over 320 million people in the USA and less than 4% population confirmed Covid-19 cases, I believe we have a long way to go until we get back to what we once knew as normal.
Here are some examples where I see Verb providing value to our Vet experience with an app and verb live...
- When we call to schedule visit, could be directed to app to complete information prior to arriving.
-Vet could text link for us to use verb live to interact with them during office visit (since not able to go inside) Vet could show us where the leg has injury, we could watch how they give medicine, etc.
-Prior to check out, could watch video on suggested care and how to do home therapy, treat wound, etc.
- Checkout to pay for services and other pet items could be done online vs giving credit card number over phone.
There are over 113,000 veterinarians in the US.
May seem like a small number, but just one business segment. There are thousands of other segments just like this that could be future Verb customers.
