On one of my Microsoft Teams called on Thursday, s
Post# of 32626
Company recently switched from Skype to Teams as Microsoft is pushing all enterprises down that path.
"Microsoft has announced that Skype for Business Online will no longer be accessible after July 31, 2021."
So now less than a year.
Microsoft Teams has limits
You can read about them here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsofttea...ions-teams
Zoom also has limits
Most conferencing tools have limits, even if your name is Microsoft
I said this before
Verb Live isn't Zoom
Verb Live isn't Shopify
Verb Live isn't Microsoft Teams
Well, if it's not any of those, what is it?
Some may remember this commercial I posted
It isn't easy to define a new category
Combine a few ideas together, add something special...
It's hard to do it alone without any competition
You may want others to jump in this space including some bigger players to market the hell out of it
Salesforce, Microsoft, Adobe would do
Which is where the integrations will pay dividends
These companies service some really big name brands
Verb will get some of those brands and the visibility will soar
Think about this...
There isn't one shoe company in the world
There isn't one gas station company in the world
There isn't one fast food company in the world
There isn't one bottled water company in the world
There isn't one conferencing company in the world
But there is one company that has interactive conferencing at a great price point
Bring on others and let them help create this new category with VERB
I said this same thing a few times over the last few years...
"I think we have a meaningful head start, but I will add this. The market for this product is so massive. There could be 15 other companies offering the same thing, and it’s not going to change one bit for us. It’s that big."
The problem to date has always been...
Companies that have done interactive videos have been one off and very expensive
Those companies don't even have conferencing
Having worked with Marketing for years these one off videos are really expensive
"Unfortunately, the brilliance of interactive streaming ads makes them expensive. E-tailers who are ready to shell out can certainly reap the rewards, but it’s going to cost them a great deal."
The article I posted was about interactive streaming ads
Verb is not in the ad business yet and I don't know if they ever plan on being there
They could give the software away for free and charge per click
It's a model they could consider in the future
Base plus click
So what's the difference between Verb Live and Streaming Ads?
Well, when I was watching both conventions over the past few weeks on different channels and sites. When I watched youtube they would do these streaming ads in the middle asking for donations. Kind of irritating, but I am getting the stream for free. There are a bunch of other sites that do them but most are not interactive yet. I don't even remember if the youtube ones were.
If you are going to go through the trouble to create a video, why wouldn't you want to take 10 more seconds and make it interactive
That message I bet will be heard over and over again
