Gold reclaims $1,650 as dollar weakens
G-7 aims to ease currency-war fears; platinum, palladium prices rise SAN FRANCISCO (MarketWatch) — Gold futures headed higher Tuesday, set to finish above the $1,650-an-ounce level, finding support from weakness in the dollar as the market assessed a statement from the Group of Seven nations on foreign-exchange rates.
