I think he is wrong for a couple of reasons I don't have time to go into right now, but will say, For one thing, I think he is asking the wrong question.
For another he uses what someone said as claims of one or two manufacturers which may not be the same thing. For another, his argument mainly rests on just one datapoint, which does not invalidate the test. In fact, many countries have approved the test, so are they all wrong? Finally, he fails to discuss the incubation period before shedding, and seems to assume it does not exist, that you are contagious once you show antibodies. Not necessarily so.
