The new article by Dr. Mehlotra at CWRU (where I did undergrad) just references the original May 5th Patterson Pre-print on BioRXiv. Anyone could have referenced it at any time after Dr. Patterson posted it there.
The revised and apparently accepted for publication version of Patterson's article (with retrospective matched control group with biomarker comparisons) has not officially been published yet, not even online version of journal before press.
Apparently Patterson had circulated it to his friends like Dr. Yo though.
It should bring good publicity and credibility when it comes out, similar perhaps to the Aviptadil pre-print(s). Looking forward to seeing it in a somewhat prestigious journal with all the new details, and how the press and scientific community receive it.
