I find it hard to believe that a "senior administration official"
1) took the time to look up Operation Warp Speed paperwork for one small-time biotech out of thousands just because some equally small-time WSJ guy asked him to.

Mikey FudgeNuts here emails some low-level nobody in the government and asks them for the status of CYDY's OWS application. Said nobody types CytoDyn into the system and gets no hits. End of completely boring story.
And do you know why they didn't find anything? BECAUSE THEY NEVER SUBMITTED ANYTHING, NOR HAVE THEY EVER CLAIMED TO!
Bruce Patterson says he got an email about OWS. Calling that a submitted application isn't just a stretch, it's building an entire story on straight-up lies.
The government doesn't send you an email saying, "Operation Warp Speed....you in?" and then add you to the list of candidates.
You can't even get a car loan that easily, much less a billion dollars of taxpayer money.
