Trump either ignored, contradicted or embarrassed the scientists on his panel. That crap about injecting disinfectants, getting light into the body and the rest of his junk science opinions are responsible for misleading his base of credulous mopes and getting some of them killed with 'oh, it will go away when it gets warm'.
