I read of more and larger equipment, larger crew, higher grade ore, better leach strategy. I sincerely hope the lessons learned will prove to be the right lessons. Why are we reinventing cyanide leaching - a technique that was discovered in 1887? I know that's a cheap shot - all ore bodies differ and all leach has to be tailored to the ore being loaded that week.
For three years, make that nine years - we've been learning lessons on crushing and leaching then recovering precious metal from this same ore body and we are not yet a fully functioning and producing mine - no matter what the filings say. Pretty discouraged to be honest. yes I understand that the pandemic is a recent factor.
Raise that price a little - not a lot - and i'm back to selling percentages of our stake. Never enough to sink the ship - don't own that much. Enough to get some cash out now and then and back into a bank account.
One long and frustrating journey- no longer can DIP cite the typical time for a mine to come into its own. We've put in that time and we are a 0.005 stock with 2 billion shares outstanding and and apparently producing a few ounces of gold on the good days.
Don't see that today's PR will move the stock up - most likely no effect.
