Peacekat’s post brings forward a very stark reality that this virus continues to mutate and different strains will be reinfecting everyone. We will more than likely never have a vaccine. At least not one that works very long if at all. Therapeutics will be our only weapons if this holds true with the reality of reinfection.
Could you imagine if leronlimab becomes a daily or weekly antibody/immune regulator like a vitamin you take daily or maybe weekly or for that matter monthly or bi-monthly. Whatever bares out as trialed and works for a proper prep dosage and maybe an little better way of delivery. Maybe in a gel cap... inhaler?
We would be very wealthy Investors to have the majority of 9 billion people taking our little molecule that saves lives as a prep drug. Possible eventually over the counter because of the safety profile. Imagine the revenue... Scary potential to imagine. My oh my... what we could ponder about... there is no end to the possibilities if you believe in Leronlimab.
