I am of the mind of never say never. Certainly all of us, including the FDA and President Trump would like to be in the position to stay that we were right from the start.
However, President Trump, whatever one's opinion may be, is undeniably extremely savvy and adept at pivoting toward and adopting solutions that are revealed to him.
I am not certain how or if the narrative will be crafted to indicate that the government was behind Cytodyn (FDA encouraged migration from EINDs to clinical trials so that Leronlimab could quickly be made available to everyone, not just the small few in NY and LA?).
Nonetheless, the personnel in the Whitehouse and the FDA are not in their positions due to a lack of intelligence. We are all entitled to opinions of others' motivations, but all are trying to find solutions to Cover-19, albeit often in the wrong placed and with their blinders on.
Perhaps these last two weeks the the blinders have been removed and Leronlimab is suddenly visible.
