EIND is for use with an 'experimental' drug when there are no other options and death is certain. Its a 'there's nothing to lose' attempt and there shouldn't be any more added suffering from trying it.
An EUA is for drugs that have been tested and deemed to have efficacy, but not having gone thru the typical rigors of approval and is for use in emergencies, such as this pandemic.
I'm asking if the UK has such a protocol (EIND). If they give the EUA, then EINDs are by definition unnecessary.
