UK-MHRA allowing a US company use its citizens as part of a P3 trial is like US-FDA allowing a UK company to use us as part of their P3 trial.
The magnitude of this I fear is lost on many. Another country has reviewed and approved the use of a foreign drug on their citizens. We see the hurdles we have to go through here with our own FDA so to get a foreign FDA to approve is extraordinary.
Not to mention what this means is that UK will see the results directly and can review for themselves with their doctors, etc. UK does not have the same political crap over covid we have going on here so one would think they will make their decision based on the data and not the politics.
Given that cydy has already requested emergency use overall there for mild to moderate one cant help but think that it is just a matter of time esp if they start seeing results from P3 immediately.
The question is how quickly can we get those uk patients into the trial...one would hope asap
