See, this statement by Kay, specifically about VChat, is exactly the same ole problem. It's still in beta testing, for goodness sake, which means it might not work out and ever be released.
And even if it's great, it will have to be distributed to the channel partners who will have to test it, then potential customers will have to test it, all of which might likely take years. Then we'll get paid, but that will be strictly whenever.
