I like your sense of perspective.
I can see a couple of ways the article is apropos, and in the interest of Sunday color, I offer helium as a sense of perspective.
Helium is extracted from deep within the Earth and could have only been formed by the forces that formed our solar system and star system, if I’m describing that about correctly. When it runs out, it’s gone from Earth.
Helium is used in some of the most important and sensitive laser measurement devices and processes in current scientific methods. Some of which may be used to examine your meteorite.
And we put it in party balloons.
