"will some of these companies remain private" There's no way of knowing. The very definition of conglomerate is, "a number of different things or parts that are put or grouped together to form a whole but remain distinct entities."
The video below I think provides a strong hint. He lists HRI, PPSI, Wellness Teledoc and Wellness RX and talks about rolling them into one company, UNVC and the opportunity to create wealth for the many. Watching the timeframe from 4:40 to 8:05 is very telling IMO.

Private companies are valued on a net income or revenue basis multiple with the insiders benefiting.
Public companies have the advantage of multiplying the people who benefit from the asset and the PE ratio multiple which tends to enhance the value of the company. I think we will all benefit greatly here.
