Obviously there are overlaps between ‘pumpers” and positive messaging. It’s the motives that define the difference. And motives can be misconstrued over messaging boards. As for me, after working for companies as small as 20 to an international Fortune 500 corporation of 10s of thousands, as well as holding management positions, I have found that positive thinking and communication was always more effective than negative. Hence the underlying theme of my postings. Also, the voicing of spirited constructive disagreements is a good tool for unearthing new methods/solutions for solving problems. However, making anything personal during the process will harm the interactive dynamics.
In the end, it is always up to each individual to do their own due diligence, critically assess any and all information, and proceed with decisions that is best for their self and family..
