Katrina hero Russell Honoré goes on epic rant accusing Trump of making America ‘look stupid’

“They’re slowing down our medicines, and they’re slowing down the testing,” he exclaimed. “So we’ve got more people dying every day because we don’t have the testing and the PPE we need and now we have more people dying because they’re not getting their medication.”
“This is a crying damn shame and the White House ought to be shameful, and the people in the White House know better, the people in the government know better, the senators know better and I think need to be shamed over this,” he continued. “There’s no way in hell there should be out of money in the post office, taking machines out of the post office that sorts the mail which slows the system down. They’re good people, over 300,000 veterans work in the Post Office. It’s a double whammy, it’s attacking their work ethics in the Post Office, giving the Post Office a bad name because the White House wants to slow the damn mail down.”

“Congress needs to come back in and separate [out] the package on the Post Office and separate the package on the test, test, test so we can get these things passed because this is a political mess in Washington and it’s making our country look stupid,” he added.

According to a report from the Daily Beast, Donald Trump's attempts to gain back voters in the suburbs -- particularly women -- has not only failed but has created a movement among the women the president condescendingly calls "suburban housewives" to see that he is defeated in November.
As the Beast's Emily Shugerman explains, Donald Trump has a woman voter problem and he has been trying to make inroads in the suburbs by using racist dog-whistling to make a connection with what he undoubtedly only sees as white moms. And while his appeal seems to have fallen on deaf ears-- if the polls are to be believed -- his pandering has also created a backlash.

Trump campaign adviser Jason Miller lamented the death of President Donald Trump's brother, Robert Trump, as the president spent part of the weekend playing golf.
During an interview on ABC's This Week program, host George Stephanopoulos offered his condolences to Miller.
"Thank you very much," Miller replied. "It's a very solemn day here in Trump headquarters. I know the president would very much appreciate those words, George."
Miller went on to say that the campaign would make an announcement in coming days about a possible change in schedule due to the death of the president's brother.

Harris was, in fact, born in California and is qualified.
During an interview on Fox News Sunday, Wallace noted that Trump had questioned Harris' eligibility, much like he questioned former President Barack Obama's birthplace.
For his part, Cortes insisted that the president "had made this clear that this is not an issue that we're going to be pursuing."
