I am an investor as well, as it is what I do for a living, that's why I mentioned opportunity cost. It all depends how long that takes to develop, and how much more money is obtained. I don't get emotionally attached to any investment as that is it's only purpose. I would take $50 today over $100 in 5 years, for example (considering uncertainty, due to enduring the risks along the way of volatile economies, competition, regulatory, many, many other variables). It's all about net present value of expected future cash flows, but those cash flows from other indications are not guaranteed for the many reasons that I described.
