I agree with you 100%, and have thought this for a while. As we all know, the science doesn't lie, BP knows this, too. I feel that this is an attempt to lower eventual buyout offering price. Regardless of the number of potential indications, they will take lots of time and money to get through trials, and develop them. I am not sure that Nader's ego will consider something less than 3 figures per share, as he has stated many times (he obviously controls the BOD). Personally, I would rather take a fast nickle than a slow dime (opportunity cost), but am not interested in giving the asset away. IMO
