It just got FDA approved. I have read no mention where deals have made with companies for its production, yet. I do not know the ingredients used for the testing, but it is apparently less steps and not as many chemical ingredients to do.
The key is economics. A test that can be done with less cost than others, fast and accurate, is going win the day. $10-15 vs $75-150 is a big, big deal.
Definitely something to be watching.
The FDA granted temporary approval and as I understand, they are still going through the peer review process with this test.
