I was looking at the volume and ask/bid lately and

I was looking at the volume and ask/bid lately and it seems like someone is trying very hard to keep the price down. I was testing the ask/bid on Friday by putting a couple hundreds shares on block. My ask is the lowest at the time and 1cent higher than the highest bid. And mine is the only block at that ask, so it was easy at that time to find out what was going on. Guess what, the trade volume keep going up, but my block is still sitting there waiting for a dance. So someone is selling at bid to keep the price down, and it happens over and over. And I believe some members here have mentioned the same pattern . Not sure what is behind all this but seem like someone is desperate to either get rid of the stock or trying to keep the price down. Since this pattern keep happening regardless of SP, IMO it is more like the latter.
