While I do not know the exact details, I presume a part of each transaction of this type goes to Apple or Google (for those users that are working with one of our mobile apps). The general split can be as hefty as 30% for the platform holder but it can vary on a case by case basis. However a legal battle has just started today, sperheaded by Epic Games (makers of Fortnite, among other things) to try and force Google and Apple to reduce their prices and/or open up their services to more competiton when it comes to payments. I guess it is a bit similar to past anti-monopoly lawsuits that forced Microsoft to open up Windows to external service providers.
I usually don't care one bit about these fights among bilionnaires, but if the lawsuits succeeds, it could be quite interesting for the future of VERB's business, especially if those types of "microtransactions" become a significant portion of our revenue streams down the road
