All is good! I reached out to Michael Welch this morning and as usual received a prompt response. He later asked another member of the management team to ask me to share the details of his departure, which he had graciously taken the time to share with me and bjd earlier.
Michael actually has another amazing opportunity with another company which is focused on dominating the US cannabis market across the supply chain. He knows that at this point, Rocky Mountain High Brands is on it's way to being a top global supplier of CBD infused foods and beverages, and he has been preparing for a while now to turn over the reigns.
He knows that at this point he can pursue this new venture without hurting RMHB, and his departure is on excellent terms. This was confirmed to me by the other member of the management team that asked me to share Michael's words on the board.
Michael said that the company offering him the spot is in the early stages of a public company roll up of several private companies, and is backed by very strong investors fully committed to the project.
As stated by BigOH in a previous post, Michael has lots of shares and would only profit from this company doing well, and he plans on helping RMHB from this recently acquired position. Once he gets established with this new company, he plans to help RMHB any way he can, and it sounds like the opportunity to do so is tremendous!!
Michael wasn't afraid to look into opportunities for RMHB while CEO and COO. Not all of them worked out, but apparently enough of them did. He was a team player, NOT a dictator, and it worked. I thanked him for a job very well done in helping to get RMHB this far and wished him the best in this new venture.
I know we haven't heard about all of their successes yet. I believe they have some good things to share when the time is right. I'm also 100% confident that Michael is a man of his word, as are other members of the management team I've corresponded with over the last several years. We are headed onward and upward for sure, and I know Michael will somehow bring us more success from his new opportunity.
